'''Gold Key''' is a [[key]] found in the level [[The Cistern]] in the original [[Tomb Raider]].

It is located in a flooded room with [[spikes]], which are harmless when the room is filled with [[water]]. The door leading there is unlocked with a [[Rusty Key (The Cistern)|Rusty Key]].

The Gold Key is used to open the door leading to a large room with several [[Collapsible Floor|collapsing floor tiles]], with checkerboard coloured floor.
