The '''Cog Switch''' is a [[trigger]] in [[Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation]]. Since it operates like a winch it is used in combination with [[Timed Door]]s.


==Strategy==
With each turn of the cog the door is pulled up a bit more. As soon as Lara releases the controls the door will start closing again.

Generally you have to turn it at least three times. 

==Occurrence==
This trigger appears several times throughout the game and was also used in several [[Custom Levels]].


* Angkor Wat
: The first time this trigger is seen is in [[Angkor Wat]], where [[Young Lara]] uses it in a cutscene at the end.

* Guardian of Semerkhet
: The Cog Switch returns in the level [[Guardian of Semerkhet]] 

* Chambers of Tulun
: In the [[Chambers of Tulun]] Lara has to operate this trigger guarded by a [[Taur Demigod]].
