It's not a very effective weapon. It's best used only when in the water, against [[sharks]], [[barracudas]] and [[divers]]. If possible it's better if you climb out of the water and use the [[pistols]].

The '''Grenade Launcher''' was first available in [[Tomb Raider 2]]. It was a very effective weapon, you could bring down most [[:Category:Baddies and Characters|opponents]] with one shot. It was also effective against the [[Dragon]] or the [[Stone Warriors]] (in the PlayStation Version you could destroy them with it, before they came to life)

Alas in [[Tomb Raider 3]] the weapon lost its precision and wasn't as useful any more.

In Tomb Raider 2 you only had standard grenades for the grenade launcher:

I haven't finished any of the Tomb Raider games, not seen the second movie yet, and read a total of about three of the comics.

Nevertheless, I ended up as a sysop here. I guess it is because I volunteered when tombraidergirl needed someone to do the occasional spell check of new articles, which I did just because I saw how busy she was whenever I came round for a visit. I also tried to help before WikiRaider was officially released by doing some bulk work on the comics... which had to be corrected afterwards, but still I did make a lot of entries...

Other than that, I'm into Star Trek, other scifi like Babylon 5, Star Wars etc, and apart from that an obsessed anime and manga fan.

He is a treasure hunter, just like [[Lara Croft (Comic)|Lara Croft]]. He and Lara were a couple once. But she'd like to think that's a long time ago. He's played with Lara and with her money.

Chase is killed in the Tomb Raider [[Comic Issue 14|Comic Issue #14]], when he and Lara were in a tomb searching for a treasure.

Legend has it, that the bearer of the mask will gain great powers, like the "Gaze of Death". It is an amalgam of gold and sourcers and was worn by Medusa herself.

First Lara is not convinced, that the Mask exists at all, that it is more than a legend.

The last time the medusa mask was seen was 1505. The owner, a rich man, was travelling on a Spanish Galleon to America. The ship sank in a violent storm. The exact location was unknown.

D'Arseine claims, that he knows where the ship sank, but he also says that the mask was taken away from the wreck.

[[Chase Carver]] has left a trail at the wreck which Lara follows. She finds him, but he has only found a message in a bottle. According to this message some kind of madness took over the ship. One of the sailors flees with the treasure, the Medusa Mask.
