Temple Of Poseidon is a level in The Last Revelation. After collecting four Tridents in the Catacombs underneath the Coastal Ruins, Lara enters the temple of Poseidon. As a coastal city which depended on maritime trade, Alexandria would have been anxious to obtain the favour of the Greek sea god, Poseidon. The Temple of Poseidon was an actual structure in ancient Alexandria and was situated near the ancient Theatre, which is located on Hospital Hill in Alexandria. The worship of Poseidon would have been under the influence of Alexandria's Greek rulers. The temple centres around a large, deep well with four wellheads at the cardinal points of the compass. Lara must find the Poseidon statues and return the forked Trident heads to them. There are various dangerous to overcome, such as re-animated Skeletons and an angry Air Wraith.
