The Gong Hammer is an item found in Tomb Raider II in the Ice Palace. It is found underwater, below the giant pot of fire. Lara must find a lever that will turn the pot and melt the ice in order to reach the item. If Lara does not pick up the gong hammer, a door found later in the level will not open. The gong is used to open the door to the actual Ice Palace in which the Talion resides.
