Avalon (probably from the Celtic word abal: apple) is a legendary island featured in the Arthurian legend. It mentioned in [[Tomb Raider Legend]], in wich [[Lara]] is searching the pieces of the legendary King Arthur's sword, [[Excalibur]], to discover what happened to her mother. In the very end of this game, Lara finds out that her mother isn't dead, is actually in this mythical island. Avalon (probably from the Celtic word abal: apple) is a legendary island featured in the Arthurian legend. It mentioned in Tomb Raider Legend, in which Lara is searching the pieces of the legendary King Arthur's sword, Excalibur, to discover what happened to her mother. In the very end of this game, Lara finds out that her mother isn't dead, but is actually in this mythical island. It's very possible that Avalon will also makes an appear in Tomb Raider Underworld, once it's mentioned in the last trailer released of this game.
